Hill is a professor at Brandeis University teaching social policy, law, and women’s studies. Anita gained national recognition when she accused US Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas (her supervisor at the Department of Education and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) of sexual harassment. In 1991 her testimony was doubted and Thomas confirmed. But the effect of her comments were that many more women ran for office and in 1992 Pres.
